LHH is seeking a motivated and results-driven Carrier Sales Representative to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with carrier partners, securing transportation capacity, negotiating rates, and ensuring successful execution of customer shipments. This is an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced brokerage environment and enjoys relationship-building, problem-solving, and sales. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers to support customer transportation needs.
• Source new carrier partners and expand carrier network capacity.
• Negotiate competitive transportation rates while maintaining service expectations.
• Secure carrier capacity and coordinate freight movements to meet customer requirements.
• Manage load tendering, dispatching, tracking, and delivery updates.
• Monitor shipment performance and proactively resolve delays, service failures, and transit issues.
• Work closely with operations and pricing teams to support customer quotes and transportation solutions.
• Communicate regularly with carriers and customers regarding shipment status and expectations.
• Maintain accurate transportation and shipment records within company systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and industry best practices.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in freight brokerage, carrier sales, transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of carrier networks and transportation processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven customer service and account management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Experience using transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.

Pay/Benefits:

• $55,000 - $75,000 depending on experience
• Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, and 401K plan
• Commission starts after 3-6 month training period

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
